This camera was purchased to replace my D-10 that was flooded, on this one the door compartment has a lock. Like it also is rugged point and shoot camera.

It is shockproof, it can withstand a fall of 1.5 meters on the cement. It means it can be carried in the forest attached to the strap of your backpack ready to shoot at any given time.
It is also freeze proof, a good thing if you forget it in the car on a Canadian winter night or if you drop it in the snow and don't notice right away.
But the main reason that made me choose this camera as my point and shoot was it's cappability to be used under water at depth of up to 33 feet.
The added upgrades; full hd 1080 video, more advanced processor, 3 special modes for underwater.
