Road Trip November 2012 : Florida

This year we decided to take our November trip in Florida, last year we travelled a lot and spent much time on the road so the plan for this year was to spend more time in each places. Our two main destinations were Top Sail State Park near Destin in Florida's panhandle region on the emerald coast and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in Key Largo. This year I purchased a new underwater camera and took along my diving gear so I also have some underwater photos.

Road Trip January 2012 : Florida

Every year I go to Florida in January, this year I spent some time taking my advanced scuba diver class with an introduction to the photography speciality. I only own a camera that can dive to 30 feet, I have yet to buy a kit to photograph deeper. It's in the planning for january 2013 so for the class I had a friend who is also my instructor and a great underwater photographer lend me one. As I was quite busy with the learning of all the other aspect of the diving class, taking pictures was not my main objectives. Only the baracudas picture was taken at that time, I was at 90 feet and they were circling the wrek we were exploring. All the other underwater pictures have been taken with my portable Canon D-10 camera while snorkeling in shallow waters. I included a few shots that were taken on the way back to Montreal such as those in Washington DC.
